We’re so excited to share the recipients of the 2025 Country Arts Support Program (CASP)!
CASP is all about celebrating creativity and supporting community-driven arts projects across our region. This year’s projects are exciting and diverse, from pottery and printmaking to mentorships and live performances, and they show just how strong and vibrant our arts community really is.
Here’s what’s happening in 2025:
✨ Mungindi Men's Shed Inc – Weemelah Cushion Making Workshop
A practical, creative workshop bringing people together to learn sewing skills and make something beautiful for their homes.
✨ Baan Baa Community Hall Incorporated – Bringing Live Events to Baan Baa 2026
Live performances returning to Baan Baa, giving the community a place to gather, celebrate, and be inspired.
✨ Community Weathering Station – How to Weather Together
Exploring climate, place, and resilience through art and storytelling.
✨ Deepwater Art and Pottery Group – Ceramic Christmas Decorations and Figurines
Hands-on workshops to create unique Christmas decorations and sculptures using hand- and slab-building techniques.
✨ Black Gully Printmakers – Prints of Armidale: Telling Stories Through Print, Press and Exhibition
Celebrating local stories through the art of printmaking, bookmaking and exhibition.
✨ New England Regional Art Museum – New Horizons Mentorship
A mentorship program supporting an emerging artist to grow their skills and explore new opportunities under the mentorship of Walcha artist, Angus Nivison.
The Country Arts Support Program is delivered by Arts North West and funded by Create NSW.
