ARTS NORTH WEST MINI GATHER & TRADE: ABORIGINAL ARTISANS STALL CONFIRMED FOR BAIADA CAROLS IN THE PARK

December 11, 2025

Arts North West is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Mini Gather & Trade market stall at the Baiada Carols in the Park on Saturday, 13 December 2025, from 5pm–9pm at Bicentennial Park, Tamworth.

Like our Gather and Trade Markets this pop-up stall will showcase local Aboriginal creativity and talent. Participating artists:

Audrey Fogg featuring additional works by Arthur Trindall, Audrey Trindall, and Jody Trindall

· Tania Hartigan

· Jodie Herden

Visitors to the Carols event will have the chance to meet the artists, learn about their creative practices, and purchase unique handcrafted pieces, just in time for Christmas. From contemporary First Nations artworks to handcrafted gifts, the Mini G&T market invites the community to shop local and celebrate culture during the festive season.

Arts North West Aboriginal Arts Officer, Robbie Hartigan, said the pop-up stall highlights the depth of Aboriginal artistry in the New England North West.

“Being part of this Mini Gather & Trade stall creates a valuable stepping stone for local Aboriginal creatives by offering opportunities to share their work, build community connections, and strengthen their creative businesses. We’re delighted to bring a pop-up version of our successful markets to Baiada Carols in the Park and to help showcase this incredible local talent.” ”

Baiada Carols in the Park will draw families from across the region for an evening of music, festive cheer, food trucks, and a special visit from Santa.

Arts North West invites the community to celebrate Christmas under the stars while supporting local Aboriginal artists.
