Completing the Picture in Boggabri

November 14, 2025

Boggabri Public School’s newest mural, created by regional artist Jordan Lucky, is a vibrant celebration of the natural world and the creative spirit of the school community. Inspired by the rich flora and fauna of the Boggabri district, the work combines bold colours, detailed forms and imaginative elements that encourage students to observe, explore and dream. The mural invites young learners to connect more deeply with their environment, while also highlighting the power of creativity as a tool for curiosity and expression.

A long overdue project, this mural proudly completes the full suite of four artworks installed across 2024–2025 by artists Jordan Lucky, James O'Hanlon and Jack Conlan. Together, these large-scale works transform the school into a vibrant outdoor gallery, enriching daily learning spaces and strengthening community identity. This final addition brings the project full circle, celebrating local stories, artistic collaboration and the beauty of the Boggabri region.
