The CASE (Contemporary Art, Socially Engaged) Incubator program is now accepting applications from mid-career artists working in socially engaged art. One artist from each Australian state and territory will be selected to participate in a paid 12-month residency from October 2026 to September 2027. Designed and delivered by The Cad Factory, the program provides in-depth mentorship from sector leaders, peer-to-peer learning, national networking opportunities, and support to develop a small project or resource that contributes to the socially engaged arts sector. Successful applicants will also receive an artist fee, project funding, and fully covered travel, accommodation and per diems for two Sydney-based residencies.
