Once again ACS Gallery in Tenterfield is running the Spring Art Prize! Supported by great sponsors there are major cash prizes to be won in 2D and 3D

The Outback Country Art Prize gives rural and remote artists the chance to exhibit their work, access professional development, and compete for cash prizes and exhibition opportunities with metro gallery partners.

Available to regional artists & industry across NSW, MusicNSW has launched the online session New Wave: Building Buzz happening on 27 August, featuring artist Pete McCredie on using social media to market your music and build your audience.

The CASE (Contemporary Art, Socially Engaged) Incubator program is now accepting applications from mid-career artists working in socially engaged art. One artist from each Australian state and territory will be selected to participate in a paid 12-month residency from October 2026 to September 2027. Designed and delivered by The Cad Factory, the program provides in-depth mentorship from sector leaders, peer-to-peer learning, national networking opportunities, and support to develop a small project or resource that contributes to the socially engaged arts sector. Successful applicants will also receive an artist fee, project funding, and fully covered travel, accommodation and per diems for two Sydney-based residencies.

The Koori Mail Indigenous Art Award 2026 is a national award, open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists working in any medium. Artists at any stage of their career are encouraged to enter this non-acquisitive award. Entries are free.

Entries are now open for the CREATE 2026 Exhibition, part of Narrabri Shire’s annual CREATE Festival.
