Veranda Posts – Walcha Fitzderby Chambers.

2007 SHOPFRONT AWNING POST WORKSHOP

Artists and technicians designed and carved more than thirty posts during a ten-day workshop in Walcha to replace the old awning posts of six shopfronts.

THE ARTIST:

Rick Reynolds's work can be found in major institutions, commissioned public sculptures throughout the Mid North Coast and he is a regular exhibitor to Sculpture by the Sea.

SIDE NOTE:

The street furniture wrapping this same building was part of the '2001 The Street Furniture Project' It is called 'The Cocktail Lounge' (Artist Stephen Killick, from Wauchope)
