Created and installed from; 2001 The Street Furniture Project. Funded by Armidale 3rd City of the Arts, Walcha Arts Council and Walcha Council with assistance from State Forests NSW, NPWS and Fenning Timbers.

This piece of street furniture, wrapped around an afternoon-sunlit corner building in the center of town and named The Cocktail Lounge, really does invoke the imagination for you to be exactly where the name suggests.

THE ARTIST:

Born in London, UK - 26th September, 1947, Stephen emigrated to Australia 1952. Studied at South Australian School of Art, Adelaide & National Gallery of Victoria School, Melbourne. Stephen has been a part of many solo & group exhibitions and has art in some of the country's most impressive collections.
