An Aboriginal Carved Tree brought to the Walcha Pioneer Cottage Museum grounds in 1965 from a local property, 'Silvermount'.
It is believed to be the only remaining one of three trees carved as memorials to the men who died during a fight between local and coastal Aborigines in the late 1800's.
Now encased behind glass at the Walcha Pioneer Cottage Museum complex for its preservation.
