Peel River Ramblers

Formed in 2024 and hailing from Tamworth, NSW, Travis (Guitar & Vocals), Chloe (Banjo), Ethan (Guitar), and Ben (Double Bass) are stitched together by a love of bluegrass and old-time country music, mixing sweet harmonies and spirited picking. Their shows are lively and loose, and their original songs full are of stories, occasionally true, but usually tall.

2026 has been action packed with appearances at Tamworth Country Music Festival, Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival, the MusicNSW West Bound & Down tour, and performances across NSW. Travis was the 2026 recipient of the John Minson Scholarship for the CMAA Academy. In May 2026 they released their debut single, One Week, and its follow-up, Balls, is due for release in October.

Peel River Ramblers have one eye on the past - keen to further traditional country music forms, particularly bluegrass, and particularly in Australia's Home of Country Music, Tamworth - while trying to forge their own space in the genre with their original songs and tunes.
