Creative Trails with BuggArt – Mobile Art Van Development

Creative Trails with BuggArt will establish a mobile art van to deliver multimedia arts workshops throughout remote and rural communities across the New England North West. The van will visit daycares, schools, disability services, aged-care facilities and community organisations, making creative and cultural experiences accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

The mobile art van will enable BuggArt to collaborate with artists and cultural practitioners, facilitate creative exchanges and share skills, knowledge and working practices across the region. It will also strengthen capabilities in cultural facilitation, project management, partnership development, community engagement and creative leadership.

In the longer term, the project will extend access to arts and cultural activities in communities where opportunities can be limited by distance and a lack of facilities. Through culturally safe and inclusive workshops, Creative Trails will support emerging artists, encourage intergenerational learning and build stronger connections between artists, schools, service providers and community groups.
