Arts North West & Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance Workshop Series

In 2024, Arts North West (ANW) and the Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance (ARAA) teamed up to deliver a series of informative and supportive workshops for creatives in the region. The first of these workshops, titled "Project Planning & Grant Writing Sessions," was held in Tamworth and Armidale.

These free community workshops focused on Project Planning and Grant Writing, designed specifically to support Aboriginal artists, community leaders, not-for-profits, and other creatives in bringing their projects to life.

The practical sessions guided participants through essential steps in Project Planning, covering everything from setting clear goals to building a timeline and budget. They also provided key insights on locating funding sources and writing strong, successful grant applications.

Whether participants were new to project management or aiming to enhance their skills, the workshops offered valuable tools and strategies for navigating arts funding and project development.

Attendees were encouraged to bring a project idea to workshop during the session and left with practical steps to move their projects forward.
