Rise & Thrive: Glen Innes Small Business Month

Opportunity Description
Throughout October 2026 , Glen Innes Severn Council is running Rise & Thrive, its NSW Small Business Month program, through the Glen Innes Highlands Hub. The events are free and bring together local businesses, entrepreneurs, industry, training providers and support organisations. There are practical workshops, business stories and networking opportunities.
Creatives are invited to apply to take part in Creative After Dark: Artists in Action on Friday 30 October. Council is looking for four local creative groups or individuals, such as painters, textile and fibre artists, ceramicists, jewellers, printmakers, makers, musicians and performers. Each selected participant receives a $250 fee and can display and sell their work and promote workshops and classes. Expressions of interest close Monday 12 October. Successful applicants will be told by Friday 16 October. The event is open to emerging and established creatives from across the Glen Innes Severn area.
Book through Eventbrite from the Council program page, where each event has its own booking link. For the one-on-one appointments with Julie Humphris, email info@gleninneshighlandshub.com or message the Hub on Facebook.
