Opportunity Description

Artist Call Out: As the River Flows, So Life Goes

A Wee Waa Exhibition of Water, Memory and Movement

Presented by the Wee Waa Community Arts and Cultural Centre (WWCACC), as part of the Narrabri Shire CREATE Festival of the Arts.

WWCACC invites artists from across the Narrabri Shire and surrounding regions to submit work for As the River Flows, So Life Goes, an exhibition responding to the 2026 CREATE Festival theme of Water. The exhibition explores how water shapes landscapes, livelihoods and lives, through rivers, rainfall, drought, flood, wildlife, agriculture and personal story.

Emerging and established artists are welcome to submit in painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, textiles and fibre art, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media or contemporary art practice. Realistic, abstract or conceptual responses to the theme are all encouraged.
