Art Omi Artists Fellowship (Australia)

Opportunity Description

The Art Omi Artists Fellowship supports visual artists legally living and working in Australia to take part in a four-week residency at Art Omi in New York State. Selected artists receive a private bedroom, private studio, three meals a day, travel support and a $500 stipend for materials.

The residency is designed to give artists dedicated time and space for their creative practice while connecting with an international community of artists, critics and curators.

Applicants must be visual artists with atleast 10 years of demonstrated art practice, and must provide proof of legalresidency in Australia. Current BFA and MFA students are not eligible; PhD students and those in non-art master's programs may apply if they meet the experience requirement. Previous Art Omi: Artists residents cannot apply for a return residency.
