Organisation: Sound NSW (Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport

Supports NSW-based artists and acts with anestablished body of work to grow their career through recording and promotingnew, original contemporary music

Grant Details

Eligibility (summary):

  • Artist 18+, living in NSW for at least 12 months (or 50% of an act's members)
  • Performs new, original contemporary music with a previous EP/album on a recognised     platform
  • Active ABN and matching bank account (or a funds administrator)
  • Must provide at least 30% cash co-contribution
  • One application per round
  • Not eligible: cover acts, first release, experimental/classical/opera/music     theatre/community music groups, equipment purchases, or touring costs (that's covered separately by the Touring and Travel Fund)

Project window: Can'tstart before 7 December 2026; must be completed by 31 March 2028
