Grant Details
AusArt Day is a national fundraising initiative from Creative Australia that brings together artists, collectives and arts organisations across Australia for one coordinated day of giving. By uniting the sector behind a shared campaign, AusArt Day raises the profile of arts philanthropy and encourages more Australians to support creativity.
Following a successful inaugural year in 2025 (which raised over $2.4 million nationally), AusArt Day returns on Thursday 22 October 2026.
Participation is free and open to any Australian artist, collective or arts organisation seeking to raise funds for their creative practice, projects or ongoing activities. There is no competitive assessment process, but all campaigns must be registered.
To register, participants must confirm they are engaged in the promotion and presentation of arts and cultural activities, agree to adhere to the Protocols for using First Nations Cultural and Intellectual Property in the Arts, and commit to delivering a dedicated 12-hour digital fundraising campaign on 22 October, sharing live results at scheduled times throughout the day as requested by Creative Australia.
Registered participants will be featured in the AusArt Day participant gallery on the Creative Australia website (live from 1 October), receive access to nationally branded campaign assets, and join a nationwide campaign amplifying the visibility of arts fundraising
