Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups — Creative Australia

Funding of $10,000 to $50,000 is available for artists and arts workers across all art forms, through Creative Australia's Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups program.

The grant supports a wide range of activities, including new work, creative development, research, touring, festivals, exhibitions, performances, publishing, and community engagement projects. Activities can take place nationally, internationally, online, or a mix of both.

• Applications close: Tuesday 1 September 2026, 3pm AEST
• Register by: 10am AEST Monday 31 August 2026 to apply in this round (registrations after this time won't be processed until 2 September, so you'll miss the cut-off)
• Outcome notified: early December 2026
• Supported activity period: 7 December 2026 to December 2028
• Next closing date: Tuesday 2 March 2027, 3pm AEDT

Who can apply
Individuals and groups (organisations aren't eligible for this category). You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and a practising artist or arts professional. A dedicated First Nations panel is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and groups.
