About
Sir Henry Parkes School of Arts
Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts is a multi-function centre boasting a museum, cinema, function centre and library, also within the complex is the Courtyard Cafe.
The original hall where Sir Henry Parkes delivered his famous speech in 1889 is now a Museum to Federation and a gallery which celebrates the life of Parkes.
The building has been central to Tenterfield’s civic, cultural and social life for well over a century. Today, it continues that proud tradition as both a museum preserving local and national history, and a theatre and cinema showcasing live performance, film and community events.
The building also holds the Tenterfield Information Centre as well as the Courtyard Café.
