Gunnedah Rural Museum

The Gunnedah Rural Museum is one of Australia's largest collections of early agriculture, industrial history and transport memorabilia.

The museum covers an area of more the 14,000 square metres and has in excess of 23,000 items on display. Allow plenty of time for your visit to wander through the exhibits and collections.

The museum houses tractors, steam engines, antique farm machinery, horse drawn and motorised vehicles, household items, antique firearms, blacksmithing tools, toys, McDonagh model railway, shearing display, crafts and gift shop.

A well stocked souvenir gift shop is located on site. The museum has ample parking space out front available for cars with caravans, motor homes and visiting coach groups.
