About

Deepwater School Of Arts Hall

The Deepwater Hall is a public utility managed as a Crown Land Site supervised and maintained by three local trustees. It has recently been fully refurbished.

It has a well heated auditorium capacity of seating about 200. Three separate rooms are used as a library, for meetings and as a venue for handicraft and other groups.

For over 100 years the hall has been the centre of the local community and multiplicity of events continue to occur here.

Travelling shows regularly visit; The Deepwater Hall players have produced a biennial production over the last 45 years; wedding receptions, funeral, wakes, balls, dances, workshops, choir rehearsals, classes for children (ballet), school concerts fundraisers of all types, lectures, ceremonies such as the annual Anzac Day Memorial Service all that place here.
