‘Bedtime Story’, by renowned artists Scott Nagy and Janne Birkner was opened on Monday, 14 February 2022 at 10am. Located in Barraba’s Courtyard on Queen Street, ‘Bedtime Story’’ has injected some wonderful colour and warmth into the area and has brought to life the north-facing wall which sits beside the library and Council office.

The artwork depicts a cosy narrative of somebody reading, and their imagination spilling into the room they are sitting in. The themes of imagination, wild life and young people are depicted in this stunning mural. The launch event coincided with national ‘Library Lover’s Day’ and there was a story reading for the younger children.
