Karen Munster

Karen has had no formal training but has benefitted from many informal classes and workshops. She has exhibited regularly at Redland Yurara Art Gallery and Studio, Thornlands Brisbane, Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland Brisbane and more recently Glen Innes Art Gallery where she was highly commended at the Glen Archies Portraiture Competition in 2019 and 2021

Creating artworks is therapy for me. It’s something I really enjoy and find it very relaxing but also challenging. I like to paint subjects that resonate with me - a beautiful landscape, an inspiring scene, a loved family pet, an interesting face.

There is nothing more satisfying for me as an artist than to find a new home for my artwork where it can be appreciated and enjoyed.
