Artist Statement
I'm a 68yro, white, male OAP with a collection of physical glitches. I move a bit slow these days. Artists come and go like new model cars - bright and shiny for a while.
Galleries, teachers, government arts administrator and arts departments remain.
It seems to me that artists have been running a relay and passing on a baton since we were making prehistoric images on rock walls.
I haven't drank alcohol or used any other mind altering drugs since Jan 1999. So? I don't do "drinks etc, and mingle, schmooze and be seen at exhibition openings, events. I prefer to follow my art practice at my own pace and whim.
Pretty well retired.....
