Join us for a FREE and FUN day out in celebration of Glen Innes Severn community's newest icon, the White Rock Wind Farm!
The focus is on community participation for all with creativity at the fore. Local artists will run a number of wind-related arts activities – kite making, wind toys, wind chimes and paper plane constructions.
With the help of The Bubble Lady and her amazing secret formula, come and enjoy making your very own amazing giant Bubbles at her Interactive Bubble Stations! Live music will also be a feature with a series of performances by local choirs, wind and brass players.
We are also thrilled to be joining forces with The Makers Shed, Glen Innes as they relocate their High Country Handmade Showcase down to the park to join in the festivities on the day. This unique handmade shopping experience is for those seeking to meet the artisans behind some of the region's finest products and get tips on their skills!
The day will culminate in a performance by carrot player extraordinaire Linsey Pollak at The Chapel Theatre. Linsey is well known all around Australia as a musician, instrument maker, composer, musical director and community music facilitator. More details including ticketing will be posted soon!
Variety of food options will be available on the day. This event was made possible through funding received from White Rock Wind Farm.

Art Connections is a large-scale arts trail experience in the New England North West (NENW) region of NSW. It will assist visitors in exploring artist studios, galleries, museums and other cultural venues and experiences of the NENW.
Art Connections will be a comprehensive database of the diverse arts/cultural venues in the NENW in the form of a hardcopy North West Arts Trail Directory and a coordinated Open Weekend for creative venues and businesses from the 31st of October to the 4th of November coinciding with Artstate NSW Tamworth.
Art Connections is more than one event – it is in fact a series of over 100 destinations in almost 100,000km2.
