Wonders of watercolour with James White

In this workshop James will instruct participants on how to use the transparent and luminous colours of watercolour paints. Learn the techniques of how to prepare your paper, apply washes and glazes, work wet in wet and other essential skills to master this challenging medium and produce artwork with a striking painterly effect.
James White has been a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute since 1991 and was the art teacher at The Armidale School from 1994 until his retirement in 2013. He has had numerous exhibitions at the New England Regional Art Musuem as well as solo exhibitions at Weswal Gallery in Tamworth, the Moree Gallery, Narrabri Art Gallery and Gallery 126 in Armidale.
His current exhibition 'Par Avion: Watercolours by James White' is currently on show at NERAM.
