Waiting for Spring

Armidale Uniting Church,
114 Rusden Street, Armidale, NSW

Lena Schmalz (piano and organ) and Sharon Davidge (flute) present a winter concert of music from the Romantic period to warm the soul. The arpeggione is a rarely heard instrument but the beautiful music of Schubert's Sonata in A minor can still be enjoyed in many arrangements, including flute and piano. The programme also includes Mendelssohn's Organ Sonata VI and Franz Doppler's virtuosic Airs Valaques for flute and piano.
