Walcha Mountain Festival

The Walcha Mountain Festival is a fabulous two-day festival held annually in the lovely town of Walcha, gateway to Oxley Wild Rivers National Park in the New England High Country.
With something on offer for the whole family - it is sure to be a wonderful weekend!
There is a terrific line up of activities and entertainment on Sunday including live music by GOLDHEIST, who play a unique blend of folk, pop and classical music. The BopCatz, will then play their fabulous mix of rockabilly and blues. There are boutique wines by Whyworry and craft beer from New England Brewing Co, Australian Wool Fashion Awards parades, hourly guided tours of historic Langford House, food and market stalls, a rock climbing wall, model ships, mountain bike and road ride events and free activities for kids. This year there will also be a spectacular display of over 80 rare vintage cars from the Great Eastland Rally. All of these Sunday events are held in the grounds of historic Langford. The stunning Walcha Quilt Exhibition is held over the whole weekend at the Langford Woolshed, with the official opening on Friday evening, offering wine and nibbles from 6-9pm.
On Saturday the Walcha Farmers Market, Billy Cart Derby, Trash & Treasure Market and Road Ride Challenge all take place near McHattan Park in the morning, followed by live music at the Commercial Hotel.
