Musica Viva Armidale

The Seraphim Trio will perform in this inspiring concert that presents a fascinating program of works that will delight and surprise audiences.

The Seraphim Trio is one of Australia's most acclaimed piano trios with musicians Helen Ayres (violin) Anna Goldsworthy (piano) and Tim Nankervis (cello). They have remained steadfastly committed to chamber music and working with a wide range of artists including Diana Doherty, Paul Dean and David Elton.

Trumpeter, Owen Morris has already been appointed Principal Trumpet of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and inaugural Fellow with the Sydney Symphony. He’s no stranger to chamber music either, touring internationally with his ensemble, Bennelong Brass, since 2013.

The group has also commissioned Australian composer James Ledger to arrange Kurt Weill’s Threepenny Opera Suite and four of Manuel de Falla’s (seven) Canciones Populares Españolas.
