Every year Armidale folk gather at Black Gully (behind NERAM) to celebrate community, music and biodiversity.
The 2017 Black Gully Music Festival is rapidly approaching and this year looks to be bigger and more fun then ever with a special Youth section on the other side of the creek which will include live music, henna painting, Slow Fashion Black Gully event and Clothes Swap, as well as an Armidale Youth Council street art workshop at the old squash courts.
NERAM will be hosting the UNE Discovery Centre kids science & environment activities in the Packsaddle classroom, the NERAM Maker's Market near the creek , the Friends of NERAM bar as well as cakes and coffee at the NERAM Cafe.
Of course there will also live music all day with 2-3 stages presenting musicians from across the New England region all day and into the night.
